Research

We want to cultivate, support, and promote research which confronts the institutions and processes which contribute to sustained poverty, inequality, and marginalization of peasants around the world and across time. While our work is based in pre-modern studies (c. 500-1500), medieval studies should not mean that our work does not impact the world today.
